Art Materials to be given freely; take home what feels compelling!
Artists from our region are invited to bring materials, tools, or any unwanted studio items in good working condition to give away or swap with others. Through the trading of supplies, we can create a web of connection throughout our arts community, foster our own practice, and find new inspiration.
Do you have something larger to sell or swap? Please bring a photograph to post on the shareboard.
Please be sure to carry out whatever you carried in should it not be taken!
Feel free to share this invite with other artists in your circle of creatives!

Steamroller Group's newest exhibition is a vibrant convergence of six diverse artists uniting six individual voices into one powerful, collective voice. Along with our individual work, we are presenting our first collaborative piece, COLLECTIVE BODY. This piece was fueled by examining the most essential of all elements - the relationship - and resulted in forming a web of supportive and dynamic exchange. Creating art as a group is a challenging process of exploration and cooperation. This ongoing dialogue navigates the language of these specific materials - ink, thread, silk, natural dye, cotton, and wood. Through this process, a symbolic vocabulary of imagery, texture, and color has emerged, demonstrating the transformative power of collaboration.
To celebrate our local museum’s 70th anniversary, Steamroller coordinated a printmaking event that included over 20 artists creating and/or collaborating on prints inside of the museum’s three classrooms for one really fun, day celebrating our diverse artist community. A print was offered as a gift for donations over $70.
