These stories are both written and illustrated by Val Sivilli. Each page inside each book is illustrated by an original acrylic painting on canvas. The canvas is mounted onto a printed page containing the text. Each individual page is then stitched by hand around the outside edges. The entire book is then bound using a chain stitch inspired by the a coptic stitch.
